Trinchillo added to sales staff at Coldwell Banker

CLIFTON PARK -- Helen A. Trinchillo has joined the Clifton Park office of Coldwell Banker Prime Properties, 1754 Route 9 (Parkwood Plaza), as a new member of its sales team.

Trinchillo resides in Ballston Lake, and will be selling real estate in the Capital Region.

Albany Med adds neonatologist

ALBANY -- Neonatologist Dr. Kate A. Tauber has joined the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center and has been appointed assistant professor of pediatrics at Albany Medical College.

Fellowship-trained in neonatology at Albany Medical Center, Dr. Tauber also received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in 2006. She did her pediatric residency at the University of Michigan's C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and has a particular interest in pediatric cardiology and nutrition.

Prior to medical school, Tauber did four years of laboratory research work at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital, where she was a research technician and laboratory manager.

Supplementing her academic and research work, Dr. Tauber also spent time in South Africa, Nicaragua and Chile providing health care and studying the operations of medical systems in areas that are less advanced.

Tauber lives with her family in Albany.

Sports Page wins 3 awards at show

QUEENSBURY -- The Sports Page Ski and Patio Shop on Quaker Road won three national awards at the Snowsports Industry Show in Denver, Colo., this winter.

The awards included the best backshop ski and snowboard tuning, best ski and snowboard hardgoods selection and the best ski and snowboard accessories selection. The business also was named a finalist for three other awards: best family shop, best ski and snowboard softgoods selection and best backshop boot fitting, according to a company statement.

Sports Page was founded in 1982 by Gary and Susan Higley. Their two sons, Justin and Drew, work at the shop, along with a backshop staff that includes Chad Albrecht, Darrin Railing, Bill "Dek" Esser, Ian Lenney and Frank Sause.

Barclay new attorney at Maguire Cardona

MENANDS -- Maguire Cardona, P.C., a civil litigation and general practice firm based at The Sage Mansion, has announced that Kathleen Barclay of Ballston Lake has joined the firm as senior associate attorney.

Barclay, who has eight years of legal experience, focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice defense, errors and omissions, product liability, general liability defense and insurance coverage.

A 1999 graduate of Union College, Barclay earned her law degree from Boston College Law School in 2004. Prior to joining Maguire Cardona, Barclay practiced law in Boston before moving to the Albany area with her family in 2009. She spent the past four years as a senior associate and litigator in an Albany firm.

Holzapfel joins Fenimore Asset

COBLESKILL -- Lauren J. Holzapfel of Cobleskill has joined Fenimore Asset Management, the investment adviser to FAM Funds, as operations administrator. Lauren is responsible for providing operations and client services support for the Fenimore Private Client Group. She received a bachelor of business administration in technology management from SUNY-Cobleskill and graduated in 2012 with honors.

UHY names Robson as senior manager

ALBANY -- UHY LLP has announced the addition of longtime accounting and audit IT professional Amy Robson to its Capital Region office in Albany. Robson joins UHY as a senior manager with UHY Advisors, leading the Technology Assurance Services Practice. She brings approximately 12 years of experience in the finance industry, specializing in IT assessments.

Robson holds the certified information systems auditor (CISA) and certified in risk and information systems control (CRISC) certifications.

Prior to joining UHY, Robson served at Old Mutual Asset Management in Boston, where she was a member of the Senior IT Leadership Team. Robson began her career at The Ayco Co. after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Vermont, with a bachelor of science in business administration.
