Constitution Pipeline LLC is offering thousands of dollars in grant funding to community groups and organizations through its Community Grant Program.
The deadline for applications is this Friday.
The grants are geared toward providing an environmental benefit or economic development, to support emergency services, youth, senior or educational programs.
The program, which yields a maximum grant of $25,000, is open to communities affected by the Constitution Pipeline, a proposed 30-inch natural gas line that would travel about 122 miles from northeastern Pennsylvania into New York, ending in the Schoharie County town of Wright.
Grant applications can be completed on the Internet at www.constitutionpipeline.com.
