City police have charged a Wilton woman with criminal tampering and unlawful possession of marijuana after allegedly shooting paint balls at homes in Saratoga Springs in early February.
Rebecca R. Schultz, 18, of Palmer Terrace in Wilton and two Saratoga Springs men had already been charged with misdemeanor criminal tampering by state police after allegedly shooting yellow paint balls at more than 100 homes in Wilton, Milton and Ballston Spa.
State police said Schultz was caught on a surveillance camera at the Wilton Wal-Mart purchasing 1,000 rounds of paint ball ammo. Jordan and Joseph Myers, both 18, of Jefferson Terrace in Saratoga Springs, joined Schultz in the 1999 Ford Explorer she was driving during the random paint ball spree Feb. 4 and 5, police said.
Police said the trio were shooting at houses at random for nothing more than “to get a thrill.”
Saratoga Springs police Lt. John Catone said at least seven homes were hit in Saratoga Springs during the spree.
Schultz was arrested on a warrant Tuesday and arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court.
