After school, at 3 p.m., team players, coaches and managers will board a CDTA trolley and ride to City Hall with an escort from a Saratoga Springs patrol car.

Once there, Saratoga Springs Mayor Scott Johnson will read a proclamation honoring both the 2013 champion Blue Streaks and the 1999 team, the last Saratoga Springs hockey team to capture the state championship.

The team's celebration will continue with a banquet at 6:30 p.m. today at Lillian's Restaurant, where Jeff Sova, coach of the 1999 team, will be the guest speaker. The 2013 team was coached by Dave Torres, who was assisted by Tim Grande and Josh Knight.
