SAFE Act protects no one but convicted felons

Our governor and legislators went off half-cocked on the SAFE Act. Once again, hysteria ruled the day.

Felons are protected by the Fifth Amendment and will still have their guns, 30-round magazines, etc., while (coming to a theater near you), thanks to Obamacare, legal guns are being confiscated in California on the whims of so-called health professionals.

Feel safer now?

Gov. Cuomo’s aspirations have gone under severe stress with his midnight passage of the SAFE Act.

The irony is that he has shot himself in the foot nationwide with this anti-citizen, anti-Constitution midnight legislation. He certainly didn’t hesitate one moment on the proverbial tarmac to ram this through.

I’ll bet there is another Cuomo out there somewhere who wishes he had played his cards different as well.
