State police said they found a drunken man on a mid-afternoon drive Wednesday with a mixed drink of vodka and orange juice in his car.
Troopers said Roger A. Froude, 50, of Gansevoort, had a blood-alcohol level of 0.19 percent. He was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated because his blood-alcohol level was so high.
Troopers said they saw Froude driving his pickup truck erratically through a roundabout at the intersections of Route 67, Route 9 and Dunning Street about 4 p.m.
Two dogs in the truck were secured by the Malta animal control officer until Froude was released on tickets to appear in court.
