Union goalie Troy Grosenick will sign a professional contract with the San Jose Sharks, according to a source.
The team is expected to announce the signing either later today or Saturday. The source said paperwork needs to be completed before the signing is made official.
Grosenick led the Dutchman to the Frozen Four in 2012 and was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, given to the nation's top collegiate hockey player. Union reached the East Region finals this season before being eliminated by the nation's top-ranked team, Quinnipiac.
