It’s time for leaders to solve problems and stop blaming Bush

In regard to the April 1 Opinion section, I was puzzled by the “Bush the Painter” cartoon. The man hasn’t been president for almost four-and-a-half years now. Was it a slow news day and the Gazette doesn’t have anything to criticize with the current administration?

We have a major national deficit to deal with, yet no one seems to hold our current political leaders responsible for spending beyond their means.

Let’s deal with current relevant problems and quit blaming Bush, or any other past leaders, for that matter.

Is there anyone out there politically that genuinely cares for the well-being of the country who is willing to lead and make tough choices and ignore recent polling data?
