Two city residents were arrested after a BB gun was allegedly discharged inside a home where children were present.

Gloversville police say Anthony J. Walters, 19, of 7 Prospect Place, Apt., 1, discharged the gun inside a residence at 10 Montgomery St., Apt. 1, on Wednesday. The shooting damaged two windows, a refrigerator and kitchen sink.

Both Walters and Stephanie Zea, 30, of the Montgomery Street address, were charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. Zea was also charged with criminal contempt. Walters was also charged with discharging a firearm within city limits.

Police say two juveniles were in the home at the time of the shooting.

Officers also allege that Walters' presence violated an order of protection.

Both were arraigned in Gloversville City Court. Zea was remanded with $300 cash bail and Walters was released.
