Although Mechanicville hurler Noah Harpe let a few at-bats get away from him, he allowed just one hit, striking out five over five-plus innings as the Red Raiders beat Schalmont, 6-5, Thursday in the Colonial Council.

Ryan Losavio had an RBI double and an RBI single for Mechanicville (3-1 Colonial Council, 6-3 overall), and Nico Dumas had two singles and two RBI. Adam Dunn added two singles, and Harpe doubled.

Greg Musk hit a two-run double for the Sabres (2-3, 5-3), and Matt Capovani struck out five over four innings.

Bobby Gould struck out five and walked none while pitching Lansingburgh (2-1, 2-6) to an 8-0 win over Albany Academy. Brandon Begin was 2-for-3 with four RBI, and Connor McDonough scored three runs.

Academy got two hits from Ian Bennett.

Conner Zeoli allowed just three hits in Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk’s 7-0 win over Cobleskill-Richmondville (0-4, 0-5), striking out seven and walking none in 85 pitches. He helped his own cause with three hits, two stolen bases and a run. Carter Ducatte added an RBI double for R-C-S (2-1, 3-2).

Ichabod Crane beat Voorheesville, 12-4, getting two hits and three RBI from Eric Razanousky. Both Nick Ferrari and Pierce Reilly had two hits and two RBI.

Bethlehem beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 6-4, after Eric Mueller’s two-run single broke a 4-4 tie in the sixth inning. Mike Graves doubled, singled and scored twice for the Eagles (4-1, 6-1). Dan Nuzzi doubled and drove in a run for the Spartans (2-2, 3-2).

Shaker’s Nick Gavin allowed three hits in 51⁄3 innings, striking out eight as the Blue Bison (6-0, 6-0) beat Guilderland, 9-1. Tyler Hoffman had three hits in the win, Tyler Oppelt had two, and Sean Egan doubled.

Kris Muller was 2-for-3 with a run and two RBI for Saratoga Springs in a 5-2 win over Mohonasen. Alex Chandler was 2-for-4 with a run and a double for the Blue Streaks.

Mohonasen committed six errors. Sam Flood was 2-for-4 with a run for the Mighty Warriors.

Will Gorman homered, singled twice and drove in three runs for Columbia in a 14-3 win over Ballston Spa. Ryan Henchey added two singles and two RBI for the Blue Devils (4-1, 5-1), and Ryan Puentes doubled and singled.

The Scotties (1-4, 1-4) got a home run apiece from Luke Bush and Jesse Bush. Jesse Bush added a single and drove in two runs.

Colonie’s Liam Roweland homered and singled in a 14-4 win over Niskayuna. Jeff Bink added a double and two singles for the Garnet Raiders, and Eric Downey singled twice.

Niskayuna (1-3, 1-3) committed 12 errors in the game. The Silver Warriors got two singles from Lucas Teti and a double from Zach Zebrowski.

Albany got a go-ahead two-run single from Malcolm Porterfield in the fifth inning of a 7-5 Big 10 win over Catholic Central.

Porterfield finished the game 2-for-3. Justin Holmberg picked up the win on the mound, and Jeremy Lee got the save. Mark Morelli was 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs scored.

Joe Nellis threw a two-hitter for Johnstown, striking out nine in a 3-2 Foothills Council win over South Glens Falls. At the plate, he singled twice and scored a run. Connor Rodecker added two singles, and Adam Caputo had two singles and an RBI for the Sir Bills (3-1 Foothills Council, 3-1 overall).

Gloversville’s Chris Rockefeller struck out nine and walked just one in a 10-4 win over Queensbury.

Justin Putman doubled twice and drove in three runs for Gloversville, helping the squad overcome seven errors in the field. Jevin Johnston doubled and plated two runs, Mike Fancher was 3-for-4 with a double and two runs, and Rockefeller singled, scored and had an RBI.

Queensbury’s Phil Wettersten doubled and scored twice, and Brett Rodriquez doubled and scored.

In a Western Athletic Conference game, Duanesburg built an early lead and held on for a 10-5 win over Middleburgh. Zac Barberis doubled, singled and drove in three runs, while Drew Brice added a solo homer for the Eagles (4-1, 4-2).

Middleburgh (1-3) got an RBI single from Taylor Lucas.

In a non-league game, Hoosick Falls topped Mt. Anthony (Vt.), 6-3. Tyler Rondeau had a double, a singled and an RBI for Hoosick Falls (4-0), and Logan Brogue added two singles and an RBI.
