One Johnstown man was taken to jail and another to Nathan Littauer Hospital after a fight Saturday morning.
According to Johnstown Police, Todd Yost, 34 of 41 Parkwood Ave. stabbed 24-year-old Brent Alling in the chest during a confrontation.
Officers were dispatched to a reported fight outside Yost’s residence at 2:41 a.m. Alling was treated at Nathan Littauer Hospital and released.
Yost was located and arrested a short time later. He faces charges of second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Three others were arrested on unrelated bench warrants during the stabbing investigation:
James Wells, 22, of Gloversville was arrested on two warrants out of Oneida County. Philip Nichols, 51, of Johnstown and Tara Hoyt, 33, of Gloversville were arrested on bench warrants out of Montgomery County.
All were turned over to the local sheriff’s departments.
