Rachel Rose threw a three-hitter and struck out seven as Schenectady topped Albany, 5-0, in a Big 10 game.

The win leveled the Lady Pat-riots’ league record at 3-3.

Joelle Salisbury fired a four-hitter, struck out 13 and went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles as Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons shut out Amsterdam, 6-0, in the Big 10.

Lilly Maggs added a 4-for-4 game, and Juliana Maddalone hit a three-run home run in the Lady Knights’ four-run sixth inning,

Big 10 leader Troy moved to 6-0 (8-0 overall) with a 26-3 victory over Bishop Maginn.

Jenny Hayward and Destiny Wierzbiecki combined on a one-hitter in the five-inning game. Wierzbiecki also drove in five runs. Aly Lucier had three doubles and drove in three runs, and Adrienne Shufelt, Jess Marsh and Alina Germinaro all knocked in two runs.

Becca Smith turned in a one-hitter, and Carli Voellm drove in two runs, as Albany Academy turned aside Cohoes, 4-2, in the Colonial Council.

Carlyann Geddes also drove in a run and Becca Smith scored twice for the Bears, who play at unbeaten Mechanicville on Friday.

Lauren Mahar fired a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts as Schalmont beat Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 5-1.

Eighth-grader Savanna Liverio had two hits and drove in a pair of runs, and Erika Gogis doubled and knocked in two for the 6-1 Lady Sabres.

Freshman Kat Weingarten threw a one-hitter, and Jaimie Bartholomew doubled in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning, as Cobleskill-Richmondville got past Holy Names, 4-3. Paige Roberts and Kristina Keller added two-hit games for the Lady Bulldogs.

Sam Hart and Cassie Egelston had singles, accounting for their team’s only hits as Fonda-Fultonville lost to Ichabod Crane, 8-0.

Amanda Gatt’s three-hit, nine-strikeout effort helped Voorheesville defeat Lansingburgh, 3-0.

Emily Salerno had an RBI double, and Liz Slingerland hit a run-scoring single for Voorheesville.

Ashlin Blake doubled for Lansingburgh.

Stacy Gordon’s two-run single in the top of the seventh inning gave Niskayuna a 7-6 win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in the completion of a suspended Suburban Council game.

Ali Frary had three hits and scored three runs for Niskayuna. Leah Pennings doubled and drove in a run for Burnt Hills.

Tori Powers had a two-hitter, and Tess Bloom smacked a three-run double as Duanesburg bested Schoharie, 9-5, in the WAC. Becky Nicolella added an RBI double, and Devin Hennel scored two runs for 7-0, 8-2 Duanesburg.

Gabby Panthine had a bases-loaded triple for Schoharie.

Myah Ondreyko capped a three-hit, four-RBI game with an RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth as Saratoga Central Catholic edged Galway, 12-11.

Sloan Connors had three hits and three RBI, and Jocelyn Maher also had three hits for the Lady Saints.

Jessie Freebern had three hits, including a home run, and Jessie Uline drove in three runs for Galway.

Lisa Hime went 4-for-5 with three runs batted in, and Cait Tomlinson was 3-for-4 with three RBI from the No. 9 spot, as Mayfield downed Canajoharie, 17-2.

Brittany Pitanza drove in both Canajoharie runs.

Carly Brazil hit two home runs as Waterford-Halfmoon beat Emma Willard, 9-2, to take sole possession of first place in the Central Hudson Valley League. Ashley Lefebvre added a pair of doubles for the 6-0, 6-1 Lady Fordians.
