Ali Frary belted a two-run home run and also had two singles Monday, helping Niskayuna top Shaker, 6-4, in a Suburban Council softball game.

Bridget Woolley added a two-run single as Niskayuna improved to 6-3 in the Suburban Council. Julia Holland hit a three-run homer for 3-5 Shaker.

Erika Daigle threw a four-hitter with 12 strikeouts, and Melissa Nealon hit a two-run single as Shenendehowa blanked Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, 6-0.

Leah Pennnings went 3-for-3 for Burnt Hills.

Kelly Lane threw a three-hitter and went 2-for-3 with two RBI at the plate, leading Colonie past Guilderland, 5-3.

Mary Waterman tripled and scored two runs for 8-1 Colonie. Jenna Cubello hit a two-run home run for the Lady Dutch.

Taylor McMahon went 4-for-4 and scored three runs, and Jennifer Groat drove in three runs as Ballston Spa beat Saratoga Springs, 7-2, for its first Suburban win of the season.

Morgan Rumpf went 3-for-3 for Saratoga.

Kirstyn Alonzo threw a four-hitter, and Brittany Ubrich scored the only run on an error as Mechanicville edged Cohoes, 1-0, in the Colonial Council. Isabelle DeChiaro had two of the Cohoes’ base hits.

Eighth-grader Savanna Liv­erio went 5-for-5 and drove in two runs, and Emily McLaughlin had two hits and scored three runs to get Schalmont past Cobleskill-Richmondville, 9-2.

Quesha Sells had four hits for the Lady Bulldogs.

Carylann Geddes had three hits and drove in a run, Becca Smith struck out 16 and Albany Academy scored two unearned runs in the second inning to beat Voorheesville, 2-1, in another Colonial game.

Voorheesville’s Amanda Gatt gave up two hits and struck out 12.

Dayanna Stevens hit a grand slam as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk beat Holy Names, 10-4, to give coach Bruce Stott his 300th win.

Reychel Webster and Kim Myers both knocked in three runs as Ichabod Crane beat Lansingburgh, 11-2. Tiana Montenez and Kacy Kyer both had two hits for Lansingburgh.

Zoe Purvis singled in the winning run in a two-run seventh inning as Scotia-Glenville got past Broadalbin-Perth, 4-3, in the Foothills Council.

Jennifer Mayotte tripled among three hits, and Lyla Day tripled and singled for 4-3 Scotia. Christina Fletcher had an RBI single for Broadalbin-Perth.

Jennifer Little and Cait Tomlinson both had two hits, and Mayfield used two seventh-inning runs to beat Schoharie, 4-2, in the Western Athletic Conference.

Sydney Stanley homered, and Brianna Borst singled and doubled for Schoharie, which is scheduled to play six consecutive days this week.

Duanesburg went to 9-0 in the WAC with a 19-2 victory over Sharon Springs. Erika Kenny hit a two-run double, and Lia Schettine added two hits for Duanesburg. Kara VanArsdal had an RBI double for the Lady Spartans.

Bri Slater’s two hits helped Can­ajoharie beat Berne-Knox-Westerlo, 8-6. Michaela Horlacher had two hits for the Lady Bulldogs.

Destiny Wierzbecki had two hits and drove in a run, and eighth-grader Hunter Levesque had a two-hitter, as Troy topped Catholic Central, 4-1, to remain unbeaten in the Big 10.

Julianna Maddalone had a one-hitter and drove in six runs as Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons blanked Bishop Maginn, 24-0, in the Big 10.

Six different players had a hit, and six players knocked in a run each, as Amsterdam beat Albany, 7-0.

Alexis Case knocked in five runs, and Kari Nolan blasted a three-run home run as reigning state Class C champion Greenwich beat Schuylerville, 12-3, to go to 8-0 in the Wasaren League.

Hoosic Valley used a 10-run first inning to down Hoosick Falls, 11-4, in another Wasaren game.

Ashley Lefebvre hit a triple and home run as Waterford-Halfmoon topped Germantown, 19-4, to stay unbeaten in the Central Hudson Valley League.

Carly Brazil added a triple among three hits for 8-0, 8-1 Waterford.

Kelsey Tabor and Destiny Breen both had three hits as New Lebanon upset 7-2 Emma Willard, 15-11, in the CHVL.
