Fuller Road between Tricentennial Circle and the newly constructed Washington Avenue Extension roundabout will be closed from Friday night until May 13 to reconstruct the pavement, the state Department of Transportation announced Tuesday.
The closure will begin at 9 p.m. Friday. The Washington Avenue Extension flyover and its ramps to and from Fuller Road heading north toward Central Avenue will remain open.
There will be signed detours in the area, state officials said.
The work is the final stage of the project that began last year to reconstruct Fuller Road from Central Avenue to Tricentennial Circle, including building the new roundabout and flyover at the intersection with Washington Avenue Extension.
The $18 million project is being done by W.M. Schultz Construction of Ballston Spa.
