Joe Bender went 5-for-7, and Zach Formica added four hits as Guilderland beat Ballston Spa, 4-3, in the 14th inning of a suspended Suburban Council baseball game that was completed Tuesday.

Guilderland, which had not scored since the fifth inning, got the winning run in the 14th on a wild pickoff throw with runners on first and third.

Grant Touhey had three hits and Eddie Canty had two singles for the Scotties.

Jamie Putman and Kevin Johnston both drove in a pair of runs, and David Vandeneabeele went 2-for-3 as Gloversville beat Hudson Falls, 9-3, in the Foothills Council.

Caleb Stevens drove in a pair of runs for the Tigers.

Kyle Smith threw a two-hitter in his first start of the season, helping St. Johnsville beat Sharon Springs, 10-2, in the Western Athletic Conference.

The Saints did all of their scoring in the third and fourth innings.

Saratoga Central Catholic (8-0, 9-1) had J.R. Hmura drive in four runs and Liam Gibney knock in three and score four in a 22-7 WAC win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Drew Fureno had two hits and drove in three runs as Fort Plain beat Mekeel Christian Academy, 10-5, in a non-league game. The Hilltoppers improved to 10-0, and gave coach Craig Phillips his 687th win.

Tyler Guido had two hits for the Lions.

Lansingburgh scored six runs on only two hits to beat Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 6-4, in the Colonial Council.

Connor McDonough had an RBI single, Luke Fane doubled and Jared Jarosz scored three runs for the 8-1 Knights.

Nico Church had three singles, scored four runs and stole three bases as Voorheesville topped Cobleskill-Richmondville, 12-1. Kyle Nichols added a solo home run, and Kristian Singh had two singles and drove in two runs for the 5-4 Blackbirds.

Nolan Duda singled in the winning run in the top of the 11th inning, giving Albany Academy a 2-1 win at Fonda-Fultonville.

Baylee Hall had tied the game for the Braves with a double in the bottom of the sixth.

Winning pitcher John Barnes threw a five-hitter and struck out 13, and went 4-for-4 at the plate with a triple and home run as Greenwich beat Hoosick Falls, 7-3, in the Wasaren League.

Billy Pine had two hits and knocked in a run for the Panthers.
