Lacrosse: Scotia-Glenville girls pull out overtime win

Scotia-Glenville outscored Holy Names, 4-2, in overtime to win their non-league lacrosse match-up, 2

Scotia-Glenville outscored Holy Names, 4-2, in overtime to win their non-league lacrosse match-up, 20-18, Thursday.

Cara Zanta had five goals and five assists, and Maddy Carroll also scored five times for the Tartans. Abby O’Connor had four goals and two assists, and Abbie McHerron made 15 saves.

Holy Names got seven goals and an assist from Sally O’Toole.

Morgan Hardt had six goals and an assist to lead Guilderland to a 19-6 Suburban Council win over Saratoga Springs. Cara Quimby added four goals and an assist, while both Shannon Mackesey and Rebecca Golderman had three goals and two assists.

Rachael Picchi scored four goals to lead Shenendehowa past Columbia, 16-5. Maddie Shea and Kristen Conhors both scored three goals for the Lady Plainsmen (8-3 league).

The Niskayuna boys' team (9-0, 11-0) remained unbeaten with a 17-1 win over Bethlehem, getting seven points from both Mike D’Amario and Lucas Maloney. D’Amario had six goals and an assist, while Maloney finished with five goals and two assists.

Austin Clark factored into six goals for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake in a 16-4 non-league win over South Glens Falls. He had three goals and three assists for the Spartans (6-6). Bill Chapman and Tom Kenneally both added three goals.
