Lacrosse: Drohan, Patriots crank up attack

Marj Drohan scored five goals, and both Kristen St. Andrews and Samantha Suriano had six-point games

Marj Drohan scored five goals, and both Kristen St. Andrews and Samantha Suriano had six-point games as Schenectady beat Cohoes, 15-5, in the Capital District Women’s Lacrosse League Tuesday.

Ben Willows scored seven goals and assisted on two, and Queensbury remained unbeaten in the Foothills Council with a 15-10 triumph over Glens Falls Tuesday.

Mike Carpenter had two goals and four assists for the Spartans (6-0, 9-4). Chris Haas led the Indians (2-4, 2-5) with four goals.

Sam Carmola and Ben Connelly both had three goals as Scotia-Glenville downed South Glens Falls, 11-5. The once-beaten Tartans play at Queensbury on Thursday.
