Jimmy Hamilton threw a six-hitter Wednesday to remain unbeaten on the season as Schalmont beat Fonda-Fultonville, 3-0, in a Colonial Council baseball game.

Hamilton ran his personal record to 5-0 this spring, as the Sabres improved to 8-4 in the league and 11-4 overall.

Chris Amorosi belted a first-inning home run, Hamilton singled in a run in the fourth and John Pascarella got the third run in with a single in the seventh.

Zach Shaw gave up only five hits, and had two of his team’s base hits.

Nico Church went 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, four runs scored and five stolen bases as Voorheesville downed Watervliet, 10-4.

Winning pitcher Nick Chiseri struck out 11, and had two hits and two RBI at the plate for the 8-3, 12-4 Blackbirds.

Greg Gates stroked a two-run double for the Cannoneers.

Jack Fitzgerald had two singles and a double, good for three RBI, in leading Cohoes past Ichabod Crane, 15-3.

Carter DuCatte had two hits and two RBI, and Jacob Darlington added a two-run double and a sacrifice fly as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk defeated Mechanicville, 14-4. Zach Perras had two hits and drove in a run for Mechanicville.

Dom Razzano drove in four runs as LaSalle knocked off Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons, 11-4, in the Big 10. The Cadets trailed, 4-3, before scoring nine runs in their final three at bats.

Shawn Bernard had two hits for the Golden Knights.

Winning pitcher Marcus Failing improved to 6-0, and also belted a three-run homer and drove in four runs, as Fort Plain beat Canajoharie, 18-3, to remain unbeaten in the Western Athletic Conference.

Trent Douglas also drove in four runs for the 13-0, 14-2 Hilltoppers. Carl Gustafson and Matt Shannon drove in runs for the Cougars.

Sean Hart had two triples and two RBI, Lane Gannon added two hits, and Saratoga Catholic (11-1, 12-2) defeated Mayfield, 11-2.

Ben Manna had four hits and drove in two runs as Galway bested St. Johnsville, 8-5.

Winning pitcher Evan Ceroalo added two hits and two RBI for the Eagles. Dylan Klock had two hits for the Saints.

Devin Brooks and Rob Henry both had three hits as Schoharie topped Berne-Knox-Westerlo, 5-0, to move to 7-4 in the WAC.

Henry Holmes went 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBI, and Gabe Gentile had four hits and three RBI to power Duanesburg past Middleburgh, 15-1. Drew Rice added a

4-for-5 effort for the 10-3, 10-6 Eagles. Asa Snyder had three hits for the Knights.

Charlie Peltz turned in his second straight no-hitter as Foothills Council leader Queensbury beat Glens Falls, 4-0.

Peltz struck out 14 and walked one, and also had an RBI single for the 9-2, 11-4 Spartans.

Mike Visco’s single in the home seventh gave Broadalbin-Perth a 6-5 win over Gloversville in the Foothills.

Visco, A.J. Klemczak and Tim Gordon all had two hits for the Patriots. Jusin Putnam’s three-run double tied the game, 4-4, for Gloversville in the fourth.

Matt Garcia held Hudson Falls to five hits as South Glens Falls beat the Tigers, 5-3, in the Foothills.

Hoosick Falls scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning and held on for an 8-6 win over Cambridge in the Wasaren League.

Kealen Hitt’s two-run single gave Hoosick Falls (7-4, 11-5) a 6-4 lead.

Cody Gaines had a double and single for the Panthers.

Caleb Rowland of Cambridge (2-8, 3-11) tied it at 4-4 in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single.

Michael Dilbone threw a one-hitter as Waterford-Halfmoon stopped New Lebanon, 18-0, in the Central Hudson Valley League.

Ben Casillo ahd three hits, and Tyler Hoffman and Sean Egan added two hits each as Shaker beat Lansingburgh, 8-6, in a non-league game.

Bobby Gould had two hits for the Knights.
