Taylor Tewksbury threw a three-hitter, and Torie Rathwell hit a home run as Guilderland beat Bethlehem, 6-2, Thursday in a Suburan Council game.

Eileen Seery and Doris Kane both added two-hit games for the 9-4 Lady Dutch, who have moved into second place, behind Colonie, in the SC South by winning eight of their last nine league games.

Taylor McMahon and Payton Witalec both had two hits to lead Ballston Spa past Niskayuna, 4-1, for its second SC win of the season.

SC North leader Shenendehowa got a two-hitter from Erika Daigle in beating Saratoga Springs, 3-2.

Kelly Barkevich homered and singled, and Katie O’Gorman also had two hits for Shenendehowa.

Colonie recovered from an early 5-2 deficit to edge Averill Park, 9-8.

Samantha Blum homered and drove in three runs, Stephanie Reinhardt had two hits and drove in two runs and Emily Loudis had two hits and an RBI for the 12-1 Lady Raiders.

Lauren Piotrowski had a triple, two doubles and drove in four run as Schenectady beat Albany, 16-2, to finish 6-6 in the Big 10.

Sara DeFruscio added three hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs for Schenectady. Winning pitcher Rachel Rose struck out nine.

Kirstyn Alonzo fired a one-hitter to give Mechanicvcille a 15-1 win over Holy Names in the Colonial Council.

Kylie Liberty and Kali DeMarco both had two hits and drove in two runs, and freshman Makayla Martens went 3-for-3 for 13-1 Mechanicville.

Winning pitcher Amanda Gatta hit a bases-loaded triple to lead Voorheesville past Fonda-Fultonville, 9-1.

Jess Brousseau added two singles and two RBI for the Lady Blackbirds, 7-7 in the league. Casandra Egelston hit a double and single for the 5-8 Lady Braves.

Aly Funk had two hits, and Jen VanAlphen tripled, leading Ich­abod Crane (8-6) past Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 5-3.

Ashley Houk and Sam Filkins both had two hits for Ravena.

Galway scored 11 runs in the seventh inning to beat Berne-Knox-Westerlo, 17-8, in the Western Athletic Conference. Sabrina Williams drove in two runs, and Ariann Ceroalo, Jessi Uline and Jesse Freebern all had two hits for 5-5 Galway.

Sarah Heimbach threw a two-hitter, raising her record to 12-2 this season, as Greenwich beat Hoosic Valley, 4-0, to get to 12-0 in the Wasaren League,

Ashleigh Maines tripled and drove in a run, and Mariah Linnett had two singles for the Witches.

Taylor Cox had both Hoosic Valley base hits.

Loudonville Christian School scored 10 runs in the first inning, and went on to beat Doane Stuart, 21-1, in the Central Hudson Valley League. Ange Stephano hit a home run and two singles for the 11-2 winners.

Madi Kots and Rebecca Kogen both had two hits, with an extra-base hit each, as 10-3 Emma Will­ard beat Rensselaer, 8-6, in the CHVL.

Angela Fix and Allie Gregory both had two hits in Germantown’s 13-7 victory over Berlin.
