Residents of the Waterford-Halfmoon Union Free School District will vote June 5 on the Waterford Public Library budget.
The 2014 spending plan includes $251,498 raised by property taxes, a 1.98 percent increase over the current year.
With the increase, the tax levy is $1.64 per $1,000 assessed value for Waterford residents and 93 cents per $1,000 for Halfmoon residents.
Polls will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the library. Copies of the budget are available at the library and will be mailed or emailed to residents upon request. Questions or requests may be directed to director Tim McDonough at 237-0891 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
