A Schenectady woman is accused of possessing the drug PCP during a traffic stop at about 3:30 a.m. this morning in the town of Bethlehem, police said.
Sharon A. Broadnax. 54, of 236 Duane Ave., was charged after a traffic stop on Interstate 87 for speeding.
Broadnax was pulled over and found to have a suspended driver's license. She was then found to be in possession of a small glass jar containing liquid PCP, several packets of heroin and a small amount of marijuana, police said.
Broadnax was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, misdemeanors, along with unlawful possession of marijuana and speeding.
She was arraigned and ordered held without bail pending further court action.
