Man gets prison in larceny case

A Mechanicville man faces state prison time on a larceny charge.

Michael T. Garrick, 30, of 317 N. Fourth Ave., was sentenced Friday to 11⁄2 to three years in state prison and to pay restitution after pleading guilty in April to fourth-degree grand larceny. He was arrested in December in Halfmoon.

Also Friday in Saratoga County Court:

u Jeremy Knoblauch, 25, of 1446 State St., Schenectady, was sentenced to 11⁄2 to three years in state prison to run concurrent with a sentence from Albany County. He pleaded guilty in April to fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, a crime he was accused of committing in October in Halfmoon.

u Quentin “Q” Pinkney, 32, of Albany pleaded guilty to third-degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance and is scheduled for sentencing in July. Police charged him in March as part of a drug investigation in the Saratoga Springs area.
