Healey wins LeadingAge NY 2013 honor
ALBANY — LeadingAge NY has named Joan Healey, administrator of Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home and chief operating officer of Daughters of Sarah Senior Community, the 2013 Professional of the Year. She received her award at the organization’s annual conference in May.
The Professional of the Year award honors a long-term care professional’s contributions to the well-being of the elderly or chronically ill in his or her community.
Healey has served Daughters of Sarah Nursing Center since 1998 as its administrator and previously had been both its assistant administrator and director of nursing. Her leadership at Daughters of Sarah has included winning six New York state training contracts and designing and facilitating a New York State Dementia Conference.
Healey’s professional and community outreach leadership includes: LeadingAge New York, the American College of Health Care Administrators, Capital District Nurses Association, the La Salle School Board of Trustees, Living Resources Home Care Agency Board of Trustees and Sage Graduate School as an adjunct instructor.
Rayher, Cassidy join ad agency
SARATOGA SPRINGS — Lisette Rayher and Michael Cassidy have joined advertising agency Fingerpaint.
Rayher joins Fingerpaint’s finance team from LeverPoint Management, where she served as an accountant in charge of general ledger accounts, preparation of financial statements and client billing. Prior to LeverPoint, Rayher was a staff accountant at Marshall & Sterling Upstate and was responsible for accounting support for branches across New York. She also serves as business adviser to her family farm and business, Saratoga Hops.
Rayher graduated from Siena College with a degree in accounting.
Cassidy joins Fingerpaint’s studio after five years as prepress technician at Walter Snyder Printing and six years as prepress manager and prepress technician at Tech Valley Printing. Over the course of his prepress career, Cassidy was responsible for quality control and has become an expert at publishing and imaging software. He also spent five years operating his own business, Cassidy Creative Services, where he designed corporate communications for Capital Region businesses.
Cassidy is a graduate of The College of Saint Rose and holds a degree in graphic design.
