Privately owned nursing homes won’t measure up to Glendale

My husband, who passed away recently, was a resident of Glendale Nursing Home for over five years

During that entire time, he received excellent, competent and compassionate care from the nursing staff, aides, physical therapy and all others involved in his care. His physician was excellent. The staff at C-2 receive my special thanks.

I have heard comments about Glendale’s old buildings (soon to be remedied) and their status as a county home. The legislators may wish to make all nursing homes privately owned, meaning, to charge the families more and to pay the workers less.

After visiting my husband at Glendale nearly every day for five years, I would like to say that this is an excellent facility. I would like to see a privately owned institution measure up,
