The Tri-City ValleyCats trailed after seven innings, 5-0, but came back to beat Lowell, 8-5, in 11 innings in a New York-Penn League game on Thursday night.
Conrad Gregor hit a one-out single to score Ryan Dineen and Anthony Kemp in the top of the 11th, then scored from third on a wild pitch by Matt Spalding.
In the bottom of the 11th, Chia-Jen Lo struck out the side without allowing a baserunner as the ValleyCats improved to 4-0.
Tri-City fell behind, 5-0, when Lowell scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth.
The ValleyCats finally got on the scoreboard with three runs in the eighth.
Dineen singled, went to second on a walk to Kemp and scored on a single by James Ramsay.
Ronnie Mitchell’s infield single loaded the bases, and the ValleyCats cut it to 5-3 when Michael Martinez and Jon Kemmer walked with the bases loaded.
In the top of the ninth, Kemp loaded the bases with a bunt single.
Jose Fernandez scored on a sacrifice fly by D’Andre Toney, and Tri-City tied it when Dineen scored on a groundout.
