UPDATE: Kansas concert moved indoors; standing-room-only crowd expected

Threat of thunderstorms moves tonight's Kansas concert on the Empire State Plaza will be moved indoo

Tonight’s concert on the Plaza featuring the rock band Kansas has been moved inside the Convention Center at the Empire State Plaza due to the weather.

The concert is still scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. with local band Crossfire, followed by Arc & Stones at 6 p.m. Kansas will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.

The event is free and it's expected to be a standing-room-only crowd. Folding chairs will not be allowed inside the center, but

accommodations will be made for the disabled.

No glass, outside alcohol, coolers, or animals except for ADA-defined service animals will be allowed into the venue.
