ALBANY — Jayson Sullivan tripled and scored on an error in the sixth inning Monday as the Albany Athletics beat the Blue Slate Bluehawks, 2-1, at Bleecker Stadium to clinch the Albany Twlight League regular-season championship.

Mike Hughes and Chris Salamida combined on a three-hitter for the 19-1 Athletics.

Indians roll

SCOTIA — Austin Clock and Alex Webber each had two hits and two RBI to lead the Schenectady County Indians to an 8-3 win over Saugerties in an American Legion game at Collins Park.

Dan Zeglen tripled, and Sam Flood chipped in with an RBI double and a single for the Indians (30-8). Luke Mancini also had two hits and scored three runs.

GLENVILLE — Cameron Rhodes belted a two-run home run as Burnt Hills beat East Greenbush, 13-8, in the District 12, Section 3 12-year-old tournament.

Jack Wyatt had three singles; Glenn Ramos, Evan Bowers and Hunter Valley all had two hits and Derek Haughey hit a double for Burnt Hills, which advanced to the Wednesday’s championship game.
