Two Schenectady men have been arrested and charged in connection with vehicle break ins and possession of stolen property in Rotterdam.

Martin J. Muniz, 19, and Jaquan K. Williamson, 17, were arrested around 4:20 a.m. on Tuesday after an officer found parked cars on Marengo Street in Rotterdam had been broken into.

The officer spotted two individuals walking on Princetown Road. While speaking with them, he discovered they were in possession of items stolen from several vehicles in the area.

Martin was charged with possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Williamson was charged with a misdemeanor and felony counts of possession of stolen property.

Both men were arraigned and sent to Schenectady County Jail.
