The Saratoga County Animal Shelter’s Clifton Park Cat Adoption Annex, which has been located in Clifton Park Center for four years, will adopt out its last animals tomorrow afternoon.
Debbie Oligny of the shelter said that the clinic grew out of a short-term agreement with the mall, which offered the space to the shelter for free. The mall recently leased out the space and Oligby said the shelter is extremely grateful for the mall’s generosity over the past four years.
The shelter has adopted out more than 150 cats and other animals during its stay at the mall and is currently looking for another space in the Clifton Park area.
The Clifton Park annex will be open until 9 p.m. tonight and until 2 p.m. Saturday. There are currently six cats at the annex, but other animals are available at their other locations, at 6010 County Farm Road in Ballston Spa and at 730 Saratoga Road in Burnt Hills. Those looking to adopt animals can call the shelter for more information at (518) 885-4113.
