Candlelight vigils tonight in Saratoga, Colonie, Delmar to protest strikes in Syria

Candlelight vigils will be held tonight in Saratoga Springs, Colonie and Delmar to urge U.S. Congres

Candlelight vigils will be held tonight in Saratoga Springs, Colonie and Delmar to urge U.S. Congressmen Paul Tonko, Bill Owens and Chris Gibson and U.S. Senators Charles Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand to vote against bombing Syria.

The vigils will take place at the following times and locations:

5:00 p.m.: Kenwood and Delaware avenues, Delmar

6:30 p.m.: Wolf Road and Central Avenue, Colonie

7:00 p.m.: Broadway and Church Street, Saratoga Springs

The events are part of a national day of action organized by MoveOn.org Civic Action, CREDO Action, Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Win Without War.

Similar vigils will take place tonight in hundreds of cities and towns across the country.
