Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons swept Albany to pull into a tie for the Big 10 lead, finishing the match with an exclamation point. The Golden Knights (6-1 Big 10, 8-2 overall) won, 25-22, 26-24, 25-4.

They were led by Caroline Bouchard with 13 service points, three aces and nine digs. Sarah DelVecchio added 10 points, two aces and nine kills. Julie Nichols had eight kills and four blocks, and Paris Jarrell had four kills and three blocks. Emily Brown handed out 24 assists while recording 10 points and two aces.

The Falcons (6-1, 8-1) got 30 digs from Devon Finkel, 12 assists from Maggie Driscoll and six points from Mia Valentine.

Jenah Schnellbaecher turned in 11 kills and three blocks for Catholic Central in a 17-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-21 win over Schenectady. Alexis Hormovitis added 14 assists, and Jenny Piccarillo had 10 digs.

Schenectady’s Sarah DeFruscio finished with six kills, Tammara Brandon had 14 points and four aces, and Brielle Lazzari added 14 points, four aces and 16 digs. Cy’Anne Frazer finished with 10 points and two aces.

Canajoharie moved to 9-2 in the WAC with a win over 6-4 Scho­harie, 15-25, 25-10, 25-17, 25-20. The Cougars were led by Shyanna Logan with 10 kills, three digs, two aces and 11 points. Abbey Dearwester added 14 assists, six kills and a block. Shelby Mead had six kills and two blocks, Emma Stortecky had 13 assists, and Gracie Adams chipped in with seven aces and 14 points.

Schoharie benefitted from Grace Gathen’s four kills and 12 points, while Gabby Danthine finished with 11 points.

Unbeaten Galway (9-0, 10-0) swept past Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, 25-13, 25-18, 25-8, led by Rachel Sherman with 10 points, six aces and two kills. Lide Larranaga added 10 points and an ace, Emily Zawisa had eight points, two aces and six kills, and Rachel Jones added six kills and a block.

O-E-SJ (2-8) got eight digs and seven assists from Kendell Sweeney. Katie Pabis had three kills and four digs.

Fort Plain improved to 6-4 in the WAC and 7-4 overall with a 25-17, 25-22, 23-25, 16-25, 25-16 win over Saratoga Central Catholic. Emily Potter had 12 kills, five aces and 12 digs in the win. Cheyann Walters added six kills, six aces and seven digs, and Shawna Cotton had four aces, five digs and 18 assists.

Saratoga Central Catholic got 13 aces and 17 points from Liza Orsini. Elle Valentine had three kills, 15 points and 11 assists. Jamie Delaney added five blocks, three kills, six points and two aces.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo swept past Mekeel Christian Academy, 25-18, 26-24, 25-16, with Shannon Stone serving 10 aces and recording six kills, five digs and two blocks. Kathryn Salo added nine digs, four kills and three aces. Sierra Hubbard finished with nine digs and three aces in the win, and Michaela Morlacher had 15 assists and three digs.

The Lions got 10 points, two aces and five kills from Victoria Alteri, 13 points and four aces from Mackenzie Islip, 10 points, an ace and three kills from Clare Nelson, and eight points and four kills from Jordan Spawn.

Julianna Mastroianni served up eight aces for Schalmont in a Colonial Council win over Cohoes, 25-16, 25-17, 25-23. She also had a pair of kills. Megan Hyde added five kills, and Emma Soltis had 13 assists and two kills.

Fonda-Fultonville swept Holy Names, 25-15, 26-24, 25-7, getting eight kills, four aces and eight points from Miranda Nethaway. Shawna Trigg added five aces and 10 points for the Braves (9-2, 9-2). Holy Names fell to 3-7 in the league and 3-9 overall.

Voorheesville remained unbeaten at 11-0 with a win over Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 25-18, 25-17, 25-27, 25-13. Caroline Boulin had 19 kills and three blocks in the win, Tori Hargrave added nine kills, and Libby Bjork had 25 assists. Ravena (7-4) got 12 kills and eight digs from Bailey Kross.

Imari Baird had six kills and six aces for 3-8 Lansingburgh in a 25-23, 18-25, 25-21, 25-20 win over Watervliet. Kyly Horton added 13 points and nine aces. Diamante Moultre had six kills and a block, Deborah Moore had eight assists and nine aces, and Morgan Winters finished with six kills.

Ichabod Crane (5-6, 5-7) downed Cobleskill-Richmondville, 21-25, 25-14, 25-13, 25-23, with Sarah-Quinn Dempsey turning in nine aces and seven kills. Paige Niemeyer added eight kills, Kim Myers had five aces and 20 figs, Jordan Dormady had six kills, Mary Bartkus finished with six aces, and Brooke Morgan dished 24 assists.

Taylor Hines had five aces, 10 kills and 21 points in Mechanicville’s 24-26, 26-24, 25-13, 25-18 win over Albany Academy. Leah Von Fricken added eight points and four kills for the Red Raiders (6-5), and Alydia Zecca had eight points, 19 assists and five blocks. Albany Academy dropped to 4-7.

In non-league action, 8-3 Gloversville beat Amsterdam, 25-10, 25-19, 25-11, with 11 assists and 11 aces from Jenna Putnam. Christina Pavlovsky added seven assists, Alex Bielli and Kendra St. Andrews both had four kills, and Lizzie Peak added four aces. Amsterdam got five assists, two kills and three aces from Cassidy Arocho. Destiny Smith had two kills and five aces.

Tamarac got past Loudonville Christian School, 27-25, 26-24, 16-25, 25-15, led by Jenna Keefer with 11 kills, 17 points and 13 digs. Leeann Owens had seven kills and four blocks, Shanaga Bulmer had four kills, four blocks, 11 points and five aces. Carly Connor added nine points, three kills and a block.

Loudonville Christian School (8-2) got an ace, 19 points, three kills, 14 assists and 10 digs from Ashley West. Kasey Hannay added four aces, eight points, 11 kills, three blocks and 11 digs. Kimberly Jeans had an ace, eight points, 13 assists and seven digs.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake got 10 kills and three blocks from Austin Nydegger in a 25-13, 25-13, 25-8 win over Guilderland. Ben Keppler added seven kills, and Drew Haughey had four aces, three kills and two blocks.

Guilderland was led by Trever Laicha’s two kills and two blocks.

Kevin Mahar had 36 assists, six aces and eight blocks for 9-0 Bethlehem in a 25-13, 25-19, 25-15 win over Shaker (3-6). Brian Malsan had 15 digs, Dan Ball had seven kills and three aces, Aaron Carrk added seven kills and an ace, and John Sica had seven kills and five blocks.

Jarrod Parower had three kills, six assists, two blocks and four digs for Shaker. Ben Cassillo added two blocks and six digs, and Colin McLean had five kills.

Mohonasen topped Saratoga Springs, 21-25, 30-28, 28-26, 16-25, 25-22. In the loss, the 4-7 Blue Streaks got 41 assists, three kills, two blocks and two aces from Luc Cianfarani. Liam Stewart had 25 kills and five blocks, and Jake Sewell had 15 kills and six blocks.

Colonie beat Columbia, 26-24, 25-15, 25-14.
