A Schenectady contractor now faces multiple charges related to accusations he took payments totaling more than $45,000 for work he never did, state police said Thursday.
Greg J. Brisk, 37, was originally accused last month of accepting $4,900 to replace a roof but never doing the work and never returning the money.
State police then heard from people in Rotterdam, Albany, Scotia and Niskayuna, all with similar complaints, accusing Brisk of taking their money and not doing the work.
In all, Brisk now faces five counts of third-degree grand larceny and two counts of fourth-degree grand larceny.
Brisk operated under the business name Brisk GCR LLC. Anyone with similar complaints against him is asked to contact state police at 630-1712.
