Gloversville woman charged with cocaine possession

Police allege a city woman had more than $11,000 worth of cocaine in her apartment when they arrived

Police allege a city woman had more than $11,000 worth of cocaine in her apartment when they arrived to serve a search warrant Tuesday.

Kathy M. Ryle, 60, of 258 W. Fulton St., was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, according to a news release from the Gloversville Police Department.

City police, accompanied by members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team, allege they also found $1,900 in cash, marijuana and gear used to weigh and package drugs.

Ryle was arraigned and sent to the Fulton County Jail without bail.
