Corin Noga had three kills and increased her Schalmont career record for stuff blocks with three more, and Lauren Mahar had five aces, five kills and nine digs as the Sabres beat Albany Academy,

25-23, 25-15, 25-9, in a Colonial Council match Thursday.

Noga recently became Schalmont’s all-time leader in blocks when she recorded her 245th.

Emma Soltis had 15 assists, and Emily Hilton added 11 digs for the Sabres (10-1, 11-3).

Libby Bjork piled up 20 points and 30 assists, and Voorheesville went to 12-0 in the Colonial Council with a 25-18, 25-11, 25-17 win over Cobleskill-Richmondville.

Caroline Bablin had 15 kills and eight digs for the Blackbirds, and Nicole Brower had 10 kills and eight digs. Alaina Thaxter had 25 digs for the Bulldogs (5-7), and Kat Weingarten had three kills and seven points.

Hope Rebeor worked the net for 11 kills and four blocks, and Bailey Kross made an impact with eight kills and 22 digs as Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk held off Ich­abod Crane, 25-21, 25-21, 15-25, 22-25,


Emma Cumm had 26 assists for the Indians (8-4). Jordan Dormandy served 11 aces for the Riders (5-7, 5-8), Kim Myers and Jillian Smollar both delivered 11 kills and Brooke Morgan had 22 assists and 12 digs.

Miranda Nethaway collected eight kills and five blocks, and Shawna Trigg served 11 aces among her 19 points in Fonda-Fultonville’s 25-5, 25-20, 25-10 Colonial Council sweep of Watervliet.

Hayley Macken assisted on 26 points and served six aces to lift Shenendehowa over Ballston Spa, 25-8, 25-7, 25-22, in the Suburban Council.

Abby Agresta led the Lady Plainsmen (11-1, 11-2) with nine kills, Taylor Murphy had six kills and four blocks and Michelle Paulsen had five kills. Macken and Paulsen both had 12 points.

Sarah Thomas had three blocks for the Scotties, and Taylor McMahon had seven points with two aces.

Kaylee Bumpus was a force at the net with 15 kills and five blocks, and McKenzie Biggers contributed 15 assists and 18 points to propel Mayfield (9-1, 9-2) over Schoharie, 25-13, 23-25, 25-9, 25-22, in the Western Athletic Conference.

Jordan Marshall had eight kills for Mayfield, and Miranda Egan had eight aces, 25 points and five kills. Gabrielle Danthine had eight kills and three blocks for Scho­harie (6-5), Emily Pieniazek had 13 points and Grace Gathen added five kills.

Liza Orsini had seven kills and nine digs, and Elle Valentine, Emily Miller and Kaylie Fish served for 35 points in Saratoga Central Catholic’s 25-18, 25-19, 22-25, 25-16 win over Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

Valentine had 17 points and four aces. Shannon Stone topped the Bulldogs with nine kills, 18 digs, five aces and four blocks; Michaela Horlacher had 15 assists and 12 digs; Julia Hilton served six aces; and Makayla Wright had four blocks.

Eighth-grader Mackenzie Islip served 10 aces, and Mekeel Christian Academy rallied for its first WAC win, 19-25, 25-19, 20-25, 28-26, 25-19, over Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville.

Jordan Spawn had six kills for the Lions, and Gladstonya Greenwood had five kills and 13 points. Shamrin Flanders had six kills and five aces for OESJ, and Kyleigh Hayner had 12 digs and seven aces.

Reynolds lifts Mohon

Andrew Reynolds slugged down 18 kills, and Mohonasen pulled away for a 25-21, 13-25, 25-20, 25-20 Suburban Council win over Colonie.

Austin Laverty had nine kills for the Mighty Warriors, Jordan Cotton assisted 25 times and Justin Cullam added four aces and three blocks. Ethan Tollisen and Nick Donato had 25 and 19 kills, respectively, for Colonie, and Matt LaJoy had 22 digs.

Reid Hartl amassed 39 assists, and Scott Grable notched 11 kills to carry Shenendehowa (8-2) past Shaker, 22-25, 25-22, 25-17, 20-25, 25-19.

Jarrod Parower had a triple-double for Shaker with 10 kills, 10 assists and 10 digs, and Colon McLean just missed with 10 kills, 10 assists and seven digs. Ben Cassillo had a team-high 14 digs.

Marc du Moulin had 10 kills and five blocks, and Trevor Luicha had eight kills and five blocks as Guilderland defeated Columbia, 25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-22.

Mark Fyvie had five kills and 16 assists for the Dutchmen. Ryan Dougherty and Tucker McKeown both had seven kills for Columbia, and Justin Dessureaux had 16 assists.

Bethlehem beat Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake for the second time in SC play and for third time this season, 19-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-20, 25-23.

Bethlehem beat Burnt Hills for the title, 2-1, at Saturday’s Mid-Season Tournament hosted by the Spartans, before stretching its league winning streak to 55 matches Thursday with a come-from-behind effort.

Dan Symer had 15 kills for BH-BL (10-2, 12-3), Ben Keppler had 14 kills and Cody Pearce had 36 assists.
