A Brooklyn man pleaded guilty to drug and weapon charges Friday in Saratoga County Court and was sentenced to five years in prison.
Michael K. Weise, 36, was sentenced by Judge Jerry J. Scarano after pleading guilty to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He will also serve three years of post-release supervision.
In addition, he pleaded guilty to felony driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to one year, to be served concurrently with the longer sentence.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Department arrested Weise in August for his alleged involvement in cocaine sales in the county. When they raided his home in Malta, police said, they found cocaine and two guns.
Weise was subsequently charged with DWI in Saratoga Springs in March.
