A 57-year-old Rexford man will reappear in Clifton Park Town Court Wednesday for allegedly menacing a state trooper.
State police on Saturday afternoon arrested Mark C. Hulstrunk. Troopers alleged that Hulstrunk harassed a Verizon employee who had been working on a telephone pole at the intersection of Route 146 and Waite Road.
Police said Hulstrunk became argumentative with police and resisted arrest. Troopers added that Hulstrunk had a loaded handgun and a knife in his possession, weapons he allegedly used to threaten responding officers.
In addition to menacing, Hulstrunk was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, resisting arrest and harassment.
He was arraigned in Clifton Park Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail.
