A BOCES official was placed on administrative leave Tuesday, a spokeswoman said.
Carl Strang, deputy district superintendent for Capital Region BOCES and its chief academic officer, was placed on leave pending the results of an investigation, spokeswoman Jill Aurora said. She did not say the reason for the leave, calling it a personnel issue. But she did say it had nothing to do with students or money.
Strang has more than 20 years of experience in public schools, according to a post on the Capital Region BOCES website, including at least nine years as a teacher.
