Schenectady picked up six pins and three forfeit wins in beating CBA, 54-9, in a Big 10 season opener.

Yusif Okine (106 pounds), Alex Wagenbaush (126), Antonio Zam­ora (152), Ditaye Douglas (170), Collin Derboghossian (182) and Keanu Cordova (285) all won by fall for the Patriots.

Joe Clemente’s pin at 145 opened the match, and LaSalle went on to beat Albany, 69-12, in the Big 10.

Luke Marcelle (170), Alex Mears (285), Max Tempel (120) and Eric Rider (132) all added falls for the Cadets. Albany’s points came on pins by Lamar Grady (195) and Tyson Jones (220).

Colton White’s pin at 182 sealed Guilderland’s 39-38 win over Bethlehem in a Suburban Council opener. Mike Lainhart (120), Tom Majkut (152) and Elijah Clemente (160) all added wins via pin for the Dutchmen. Gabe Naviasky (132) and Parker Tangora (145) pinned, and Tristan Canova (126) picked up a technical fall for the Eagles.

Watervliet won the final seven bouts, ending with Travis Hogan’s pin at 160, to edge Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk, 40-33, in the Colonial Council.

Ryan Hojak’s pin at 120 pounds helped the Cannoneers overcome a 33-0 deficit, as they pinned or got tech falls in the last seven bouts.

Amsterdam beat Glens Falls, 71-12, in a non-league opener for both. Multiple-time state placer Brandon Lapi (152) was among the pinners for the Rams, who picked up 30 points via forfeit.
