The Blue Streaks used a forfeit win, pins by Richard Schrade (106 pounds) and Dominic Inzana (120) and Tom Cornell’s 3-2 win over Jake Cook to take a 21-0 lead,
The Scotties moved in front, 37-21, by rattling off eight straight wins, including pins by Corey LeQue, Fred Lohaus and James Overocker, and finishing with a win by Garreck Golish at 195.
Heavyweights Matt Holton and Spencer Wickert both pinned, and 99-pounder Tristan Biviano won by fall to pull out the win.
Burnt Hills used consecutive falls from Ricky Rodriguez, Joey Butler and Nate Sisler to get past Niskayuna, 61-21. Niskayuna eighth-grader Eoghan Sweeney continued his strong season with a pin. Niskayuna also got pins from Kenneth Chee and Khaled Abdoun.
State placer Golan Cohen edged Tristan Canova, 10-9, at 126 pounds in the top individual matchup as Colonie topped Bethlehem, 42-30.
Mike Lainhart (120) and Patrick McLaughlin (126) pinned as Guilderland downed Mohonasen, 41-36. Shiva Bhoge (106), Spencer Peno (145) and Joe Battalino (220) all pinned for the Mighty Warriors.
Columbia gave up only a forfeit at 182 in breezing past Averill Park, 76-6.
Stryker Ross, Ryan Moore, Joe Clemente and Cameron barker ran off consecutive pins in LaSalle’s 60-30 Big 10 victory over Schenectady. Keanu Cordova (220), Alex Wagenbaugh (126) Ditaye Douglas (170) and Collin Derboghossian (182) pinned for the Patriots.
Amsterdam stayed unbeaten in the Big 10 with a 77-8 win over Albany.
Eighth-graders Dan Hotaling (99) and Laine Pleickhardt closed the match with pins as Cobleskill-Richmondville got past Watervliet, 40-30, to get to 4-0 in the Colonial Council.
Once-beaten Schalmont lost only one bout in taking Mechanicville, 80-3.
Mike Parker’s win at 160 sealed Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk’s 39-37 win over Albany Academy. Parker pulled the Indians to within four points, with six points in hand via forfeit in the last bout.
