Schenectady man accused of attack in hotel room

A city man faces felonies after an attack in a Vale motel room, authorities said.

A city man faces felonies after an attack in a Vale motel room, authorities said.

Tracy K. Hunter, 43, of 15 Moyston St., is accused of breaking into a motel room at the Imperial Motel, 927 State St., on Dec. 9, armed with a knife, according to papers filed in court.

Hunter is accused of hitting the victim with the knife, causing a cut to the victim’s neck and artery. The victim was treated at Albany Medical Center; the wounds required several stitches to close.

Hunter faces one count each of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and second-degree assault, all felonies.
