Hope Cerasulo threw in 16 points to help Johnstown beat South Glens Falls, 51-45, Tuesday night in a Foothills Council contest.

The Lady Bills used a 13-6 third-quarter edged to take a nine-point lead into the fourth quarter in raising their league record to 6-3.

League leader Queensbury had no trouble with Broadalbin-Perth, as Jillian Davis scored 13 points and Aisling McAllister added 11 in a 66-11 win.

Merrick Rowland drained seven three-pointers as Shaker defeated Averill Park, 64-54, in a battle of unbeaten Suburban Council div­ision leaders.

North leader Shaker (10-0) saw its 10-point halftime lead shrink to two, 42-40, after three quarters, but outscored the South leaders, 20-12, over the final eight minutes.

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake turned in its best game of the season, but fell to Bethlehem, 53-50, in overtime.

Morgan Sullivan scored 19 points, and Molly Gallagher added 12 for the Lady Spartans. Kaylee Rickert and Jenna Giacone both scored 13 for the 7-2 Lady Eagles.

Carly Boland scored 25 points as Shenendehowa (8-2) snapped a two-game losing streak by downing Guilderland, 65-44. The Lady Plainsmen jumped out to an 11-point lead after one quarter.

Olivia Allrich scored 17 points as Ballston Spa downed Mohonasen, 42-22. Freshman Saeeda Abdul-Aziz accounted for 14 of Mohonasen’s points.

Columbia got 15 points from Sarah Jaromin to beat Niskayuna, 62-28, and Nicole Riddick’s 17 points helped Colonie nip Saratoga Springs, 47-44.

Kerry Judge scored 11 points as Troy (7-1) downed Schenectady, 50-31, in the Big 10. Alexus Durham had 10 points for Schenectady.

Julie Engster went 14-for-19 from the foul line, finishing with 18 points, and Madison Purcell led all scorers with 21 as Catholic Central topped Amsterdam, 52-47. Nina Fedullo led Amsterdam with 16 points.

Kali DeMarco had 13 points, and Julia Amodeo added 11, leading Mechanicville past Albany Academy, 45-28, in the Colonial Council.

Emily Padalino had 24 points for Academy.

Watervliet stayed unbeaten with a 54-33 win at Lansingburgh as Shelby Dugan scored 14 points.

Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk topped Voorheesville, 55-43, as both Hope Rebeor and Teller Wood scored 13 points.

Canajoharie and Fort Plain won to keep the North Division of the Western Athletic Conference in a three-way fight.

The Cougars got 14 points from Brittany Pitonza to beat Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, 52-23, and get to 8-2 with two league games left.

Fort Plain got to 7-2 by topping Saratoga Central Catholic, 56-36, as both Abby Boyer and Haley Kilmartin hit for 24 points.

The Lady Hilltoppers are scheduled to play last Friday’s postponed game at 7-1 Galway tonight.

Nicole Baritiere followed an eight three-pointer effort with five treys as Mekeel Christian Academy topped Sharon Springs, 57-37. Baritiere finished with 19 points, and Rebekkah Dean added 13 for the Lady Lions.

Kathryn Salo scored 23 points as once-beaten Berne-Knox-Westerlo handed Middleburgh its first league loss of the season in the WAC South, 42-36. Amanda Roney got 16 for the Lady Knights.

Desiree Palmatier hit four three-pointers in getting 26 points, and Lauren Archer added 21 as Schoharie defeated Duanesburg, 58-39. Rachel Gamache had 11 for the Lady Eagles.
