A Schenectady man faces charges, accused of breaking into a business and taking a welder, authorities said.
In the process, the man managed to cut power to the business, according to papers filed in court.
William Calderon, 42, of 26 N. Jay St., was arrested Tuesday and charged with third-degree burglary and third degree criminal mischief, felonies.
He is accused of breaking into the North Jay Street business just after 3 p.m. Monday, according to papers.
Once inside, Calderon is accused of going to an electrical box and cutting the power. He then made off with a $400 welder, according to papers.
