Brandon Fischer scored a career-high 22 points, and Shenendehowa ran its winning streak to eight games with a 75-56 Suburban Council victory at Bethlehem Thursday night.

Shenendehowa took charge with a 31-8 first-quarter run, and ended up going 24-for-28 from the line.

Jake Hicks and Kevin Huerter both scored 16 points for the Plainsmen (11-1, 12-2), and Tom Huerter had 13 with an 8-for-9 effort from the line. Connor Morelli led the Eagles (4-8, 5-9) with 14 points, and Sean Weber added 10.

Schuyler Sayles hit five of Scotia-Glenville’s 10 three-pointers, and the state’s No. 2-ranked Class A team soared past South Glens Falls in an 83-29 Foothills Council win.

Joe Cremo topped the Tartans (11-0, 15-0) with 21 points, Sayles notched 17 and Alex Sausville delivered 15.

Middleburgh wilted after a big fourth-quarter run and bowed to Gilboa in a non-league overtime game, 89-84.

Ryan Bechtold and Troy Hinkley both scored 21 points for the Knights, and Tanner Van Aller fired in 20.

Duanesburg rolled to 77-4 non-league win over Scotia-Glenville in the final home match for retiring Eagles’ coach Joe Bena.

Bena extended his state-record dual-match win total to 674 as Ryan Harper, Andrew Mollevik, Rob Harper, Connor Lawrence, Charles Mueller, Jason St. John and Jacob Karandy recorded consecutive pins from 145 through 220.

Junior Nick Gallo of Schalmont notched his 200th win with an 18-second pin in the 182-pound bout as part of the Sabres’ 36-27 Colonial Council win over Watervliet.

The Watervliet loss left Cobleskill-Richmondville and Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk as co-champs of the Colonial Council with 7-1 records. C-R earned its share of the top spot with a 57-15 victory over Mechanicville.

Kenneth Chee pinned in the final match at 132 to give Niskayuna a 30-28 Suburban Council win over Mohonasen.
