A 19-year-old Clifton Park man was arrested after police say he cut someone in the process of trying to steal prescription medication.
Kevin Dahl is facing first-degree robbery and second-degree assault charges following the incident, according to state police out of Clifton Park. They say Dahl forcibly stole a bottle of prescription medication from someone by holding a sharp object to the person’s neck and threatening them.
Police say Dahl also caused a severe laceration to the person’s right pinky finger during the incident.
Dahl was arraigned before Clifton Park Town Justice James Hughes. He was remanded to Saratoga County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond and is scheduled to reappear in Clifton Park Town Court on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
