Juniors Jacob Laliberte and Ryan Haggerty each scored to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute men’s hockey team to a 2-2 tie with Clarkson University Saturday night at Houston Field House.

The Engineers are now 13-13-6 overall (7-8-5 ECAC Hockey), while the Golden Knights move to 17-14-3 (10-9-1 ECAC Hockey).

Clarkson’s Kevin Tansey netted the game-tying goal at 12:20 of the third period, moments after a Golden Knights power-play had expired.

Union (4-18, 9-24-1), which posted its best season at the Division I level, got a power-play goal from Christine Valentine in the third period. Shenae Lundberg made 30 saves.
