Authorities took a Schenectady man in custody after he was accused of sending threatening emails to the Saratoga County website.

David M. Flick, 42, of Albany Street, was charged with one misdemeanor count of fourth-degree stalking Tuesday. He was arraigned in Ballston Spa Village Court and remanded to county jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.

Sheriff's Department investigators said Flick sent emails perceived to be of threatening nature to the county. Village Justice Brandi Burns issued an order of protection that bars Flick from all county offices, with exception of the public defender's office or any others associated with mental health services.
