Socha Management announced today that three health care facilities, a restaurant and a jeweler have signed on as the first tenants of its new $10 million mixed-use building in Glenville, set to open later this summer.

Albany Medical Center will open an emergent care facility in 4,200 square feet of space on the first floor of the new building, located at 115 Saratoga Rd. Meanwhile, Ellis Medicine will relocate its current Glenville primary care offices into 5,000 square feet of space on the building’s second floor. Another local health care provider will also open inside the building, but Socha has not yet received the go-ahead to announce this tenant.

Mio Vino Wine Bar & Bistro, a restaurant on Main Street in Altamont, will open a second location on the ground floor of the building. It will occupy about 5,100 square feet.

Brittany Jewelers will also join Mio Vino on the first floor. It is planning to relocate its jewelry store from Central Avenue in Albany to 1,500 square feet of space inside the new Socha development, which is set to open in late July or early August.

“One of our main goals was to get a restaurant in here because we knew the community really wanted more restaurants in Glenville,” said Socha Management President Bill Socha on Friday. “But we were also looking for diversity, and I think we have it so far.”
