Another round of winter weather is forecast to hit the Capital Region this week.
The National Weather service has issued a winter storm watch for Wednesday morning through Thursday morning.
The snow is forecast to begin early in the day on Wednesday and may briefly change to rain or sleet south and east of the Capital Region during the day.
Snowfall rates of one to two inches per hour are possible Wednesday afternoon through late Wednesday evening. Total accumulation could top nine inches.
Temperatures are predicted to range from the mid 20s to mid 30s during the day and then fall into the teens or single digits Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
