An alleged attack with a kitchen pot early Wednesday has a city man facing a felony assault charge, authorities said.
Alex Roches-Robles, 35, of McClellan Street, faces one count each of second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies.
Roches-Robles is accused of using the kitchen pot to hit the victim just after 1:30 a.m. at his residence. The victim suffered a cut to the head that required treatment.
The victim’s relationship to Roches-Robles isn’t included in paperwork. But at the same time, he is accused of breaking his girlfriend’s phone to prevent her from calling police. He faces misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief related to that.
