UAlbany student found dead in dorm

A student at the University at Albany was found dead today in his residence hall on the main campus

An undergraduate student at the University at Albany was found dead today in his residence hall on the main campus in Alumni Quad, according to President Robert Jones.

Jones sent an email to students, faculty and staff Thursday afternoon mourning the loss of Robert Annunziata, 20, from Franklin Square, Nassau County. There was no evidence of foul play.

“This is an unfortunate loss and we offer our deepest condolences to Robert’s family, friends and loved ones,” Jones said.

Jones is encouraging the UAlbany community to reach out to the University Counseling Center (518)-442-5800, Middle Earth Peer Assistance (518)-442-5777 or the Interfaith Center (518)-489-8573 for students and faculty looking for additional support.
